At Veterans Park University Elementary where my children attend it is project time. I HATE projects. HATE! Our wonderful elementary is famous for lots of homework and lots of projects. That becomes a problem for me. It becomes my homework and my project. HATE! But now that science fair and history fair are over I realize it wasn't too horrible. We actually had some fun dong their projects. It's just the time needed. Who has extra time these days?? Not me.

Not a big fan of homework myself. (Shocking, coming from a teacher, I know!) I especially hate homework that is designed for ME. Cool projects though.
This is one of the reasons I hate the start of school so much. Every assignment given becomes MY PROBLEM. UG! I'm glad it's over for you, though! At least for now. The projects look great. I love Joshie's because I *live* in Underground Railroad territory. VERY AWESOME! (Come to think of it, I live in ice territory, too... Hm.)
LOL - so true! Is is horrible that I hate the mandatory 20 minutes of reading a day?
