Meeting Our Yearly Deductible.

Josh helped us out in meeting our yearly medical deductible by braking his arm on Friday. He was playing kick ball at school and landed wrong. Now he can enjoy 6 weeks of an itchy smelly cast. He's pretty pumped!

Way to go! My brother had his baby on Thursday - also maximizing his tax benefits.

So sorry Josh! At least it's in the winter and not swim season... :)

The first broken bone of the family...right? Nice Josh! Can I sign the cast?

That was so nice of Josh to step up and help! Oh man. That's too bad.

LOL! I love his grin. He looks pretty excited about it. You're right--by the end of 6 weeks, those are pretty nasty. Remember when Belinda broke her arm?? (or were you guys gone by then?? maybe it was the summer after you left Israel --we went on vacation to England and France, and she broke it while in England, so we looked like terrible parents at Disneyland Paris, dragging our 2-year-old broken-armed daughter through Disneyland... but I digress). Point is that, yeah, by the end of 6 weeks, you are going to be MORE THAN ready to get rid of that thing. I hope Josh has fun with it--it looks like he will. :)

That's just what boys are good at. Think of the bright side. It could have been a stinky cast in the middle of the Summer humidity!

So fun to look through your blog and see how your family is growing, and see old familiar faces! Thanks for being so great at keeping current! You all look great, and we love Wade's new cup lid! VERY SMART! Joseph is running his first marathon this year - but, NOT ME!

We helped out our deductible
on Jan 1,2012 w/ 5 staples in Hunter's head! The next day Dakota got a concussion snowboarding. I love 2012!!! Hope Josh and U love the smelly cast, just don't let a cute little dog pee down it. (yes it happened to Alexis)

Did you know Tyler did the same service for us. He fell of the zip-line at school and got a major break! This happened in October just before Halloween. If you look close you can see his cast in our Christmas card. By the end of the 6 weeks I couldn't even sit anywhere close to the kid, his cast stunk so bad! Enjoy!!!
